SLS Repositories

State files distributed via SLS repositories are used to create tasks in Salt.Box.

To go to the repository management page, select SLS Repositories in the main menu.

The Fig. 1 shows the view of the SLS repositories page.

To add and activate an SLS repository in Salt.Box, follow these steps:

1. Click the Add Repository button located in the upper left part of the page Fig. 1.

2. Specify any name in the Name field, and the URL of the repository in the GIT SLS Repository URL field, as shown in the Fig. 2.

3. Click the Add SLS Repository button.
   A new repository entry will be created.

4. Click the Activate button in the Actions field of the newly created repository entry to activate the repository in Salt.Box.
